Our client - a global leader in their specialist field- is seeking to appoint a high calibre and experienced Quality Control Manager to join their expanding team. You will have an industrial background in chemical manufacturing and be responsible for the daily operation of the QC department. You will be accountable for the following functions; scheduling testing and instrument time, setting priorities, maintaining laboratory efficiency, housekeeping/organization, personnel management, and cGMP compliance. You will need to be proactive and professional in your approach with the ability to interact and present effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, auditors, and regulatory/compliance investigators. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be familiar with managing a team of analysts (10-15) in a cGMP/GLP compliant analytical laboratory.You will have a BSc in Chemistry or a related discipline (preferably a PhD) and have a proven background in method validation/verification. Experience in troubleshooting analytical issues and previous participation in regulatory (FDA, MHRA) inspections and in the implementation or utilization of LIMS is desirable.
