This morning the government published the final guidance to help employers and recruiters prepare for the introduction of the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) in October 2011.
The final guidance contained no major changes from the previous draft, focussing primarily on minor wording changes to avoid ambiguity.
In a statement, Edward Davey, Employment Relations Minister, commented that the focus had been on 'providing the best possible guidance to help everyone affected understand these regulations. I believe the resulting document will help prepare everyone for the forthcoming changes.'
The guidance has been incorporated into the Businesslink Website and can be found

The complete Agency Workers Regulations can be downloaded from the legislation.gov.uk website
